The top five 'American Idol' women honored the biggest diva's in music.  They sang two songs; the first from the year they were born, then it was their favorite diva songs.

Angie Miller

Early Idol favorite, Angie Miller had the best night of the five ladies.  She dedicated her first song, 'I'll Stand By You' to her hometown of Boston. Her performance at the piano had everyone on their feet and I'm sure tears in the eyes of her fellow Bostonians.  Angie channeled her inner Beyonce for her diva song.  She received another standing ovation for her powerful version of 'Halo.'  Keith Urban said the performance guaranteed her a spot in the top 3.

Candice Glover

Candice did her own thing to Paula Abdul's 'Straight Up' to open the show.  It was good, but anyone who's watched Idol all season knows, Candice can do better.  For her diva song she took a risk and sang Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston's iconic duet 'When You Believe.'  It brought Mariah to tears and the rest of the judges to their feet.  There's the Candice we all know and love.

Kree Harrison

Country favorite Kree made a strange choice for her first song, going with The Black Crows 'She Talks to Angels.'  Although it was good, it wasn't Kree at her best.  She redeemed herself with her diva song, singing Celine Dion's 'Have You Ever Been in Love' and getting a standing ovation.  Celine would be proud.

Amber Holcomb

Amber took a big risk, singing Mariah Carey's version of 'Without You' in front of Mariah.  Although the judges liked it, I wasn't that impressed.  Yes Amber can sing, but sometimes she sounds screechy to me.  She closed the show with Barbara Streisand's 'What Are You Doing With the Rest of Your Life.'  The judges loved it and gave her a standing ovation but I still don't get it.  The vocals were great, but the performance sounded old fashioned and boring to me.  Mariah Carey doesn't understand how America doesn't 'get' Amber and urged everyone to vote for her.  With the level of talent this year, it's about song choice and most  people voting probably don't even know who Barbara Streisand is. If Amber wants to compete with Kree, Candice and Angie, she's going to have to pick better songs.

Janelle Arthur

Country cutie Janelle stripped things down for Vince Gill's 'Whenever I Call Your Name.'  She has a great voice but I had to agree with Keith.  I just didn't feel it.  If you create emotion, it doesn't matter how good you can sing.  Her second song didn't do her any favors either.  She picked Dolly Parton's 'Dumb Blond.'  Really!?  Of all the Dolly songs to choose from, that's the one she went with?  I'll be shocked if Janelle isn't the one to go tonight.  She's good, but she's not even close to being in the same league as the other four.

Former Idol winner Fantasia Barrino and runner-up Clay Aiken will perform on tonight's show before one more is sent home.  Again, if it's anyone but Janelle, I'm guessing the judges will use their only save.  Who do you think will be sent home?  Tune in to Fox at 8pm to find out.
