The 90 minute elimination show had Ryan Seacrest giving each contestant the good news backstage before they sang their victory song.  Early favorite, Angie Miller's performance was so moving, it brought Keith Urban to tears.  Making it through were:

Angie Miller, to no ones surprise, moved into the finals and moved Keith Urban to tears with her victory performance of Beyonce's 'I Was Here. 'All you needed was a break. A chance for America to know who you are...I'm so happy for you.'
Janelle Arthur who sang Dierks Bentley's 'Home' and received a standing ovation from three of the four judges.
Kree Harrison was the last finalist chosen. I would have been shocked if this country girl didn't move on.  She has the potential to go a long way.
Candice  Miller did a happy dance when she was told she made the finals.  Then she proved why she belonged there by killing Mary J. Blige's 'Goin' Down.'
Amber Holcomb may have to step up her game after singing a mediocre version of 'I'm Every Woman' by Chaka Khan.

As for the guys:

Paul Jolley, our only country boy, surprisingly made it through, despite his over the top performances. He was the first to learn his fate and sang Heart's 'Alone,' which Keith Urban thought 'for me right there was way better than last night's and that got you through.'
Burnell Taylor, one of my favorites, brought Mariah Carey almost to tears with India.Arie's 'Ready for Love.' She called his performance 'impeccable' and hopes 'everyone really heard the intricacies of what you did vocally.'
Curtis Finch Jr, who you either love or hate, had Randy Jackson calling him 'one of the best singers in this whole thing,' after he sang John Legend's 'So High.'  If Curtis can learn a little humility, he may stick around awhile.
Devin Velez had one of the more touching moments of the night when he hugged his mom on stage after his performance.
Lazaro Arbos, who stutters when he talks, but sings beautifully is a fan favorite.  He blew everyone away once again with his version of 'Bridge Over Troubled Waters.'  This guy will go far.
