‘American Idol’ Golden Ticket Winner Alyssa Clayton of Utica Sings in Studio [VIDEO]
14 year old Alyssa Clayton of Utica could be the next 'American Idol.' She won a golden ticket during auditions in Florida last week. This morning she stopped by the studio to talk about her experience and sing a little of Miley Cyrus' 'The Climb,' the song that won her that special ticket.

Alyssa can't officially try out for Idol until she turns 15. Until then mom has the golden ticket locked in a safe. She did bring it in to show us though. The ticket allows Alyssa to skip all lines at any Idol audition.
Alyssa will open our Wild West FrogFest & Rodeo this year by singing the National Anthem. I think she's just as excited about that as she was about winning the golden ticket.
