Hollywood week on American Idol is over, and the Top 40 men and women moving on have been chosen.  The ladies may be the ones to beat this season.  Several blew away the judges during their final auditions, including country girl Janell Arthur, soul singer Candice Glover and my favorite this year, Angela Miller who sang an original song that gave Keith Urban goose bumps.

Kree Harrison made the judges sit up and take notice after singing 'Stars' by Grace Potter.

Zoanette Johnson provided the comic relief of the night by playing a song she made up on stage. She may not be able to sing as well as the rest of the ladies in the competition, but she'll never be boring.

After the solo auditions, the judges made the final cuts, leaving the top 20 women and the top 20 men.
