After the January auditions, Hollywood week and millions of votes, America has crowned the winner of 'American Idol' season 12. After star studded performances from The Band Perry, Keith Urban and Kree Harrison, plus a Jennifer Hudson/Candice Glover duet, Ryan Seacrest delivered the news.

The fate of Candice Glover and Kree Harrison is in the hands of America, after both sang their last songs on 'American Idol.'  Both had three songs, a producers choice, their favorite of the season and their new single if they win.  Who sang the best and should be named this year's American Idol?

The top 3 sang for a spot in the American Idol finale.  Kree Harrison brought tears to Keith Urban's eyes, while Candice Glover brought the judges to their feet.

The top 4 girls on American Idol had two songs to earn enough votes to make the final three and hometown visits. They took on songs from 2013 in the first round and classic standards for round 2. Country girl Kree Harrison and Candice Glover, who was in danger of going home last week were the standouts of the night.  While Angie Miller, who was in the top 2 last week, and Amber Holcomb fell flat.

The women continue to dominate on 'American Idol,' but it was one woman who brought the house down.  Candice Glover gave a performance that worthy of a Grammy stage rather than a singing competition.

The Top American Idol girls battled it out for five spots in the Top 10.  10 may have sang but only 4 stood out last night.

American Idol headed into former Idol winner Scotty McCreery's hometown of Charlotte North Carolina.  A state full of country singers and sweet southern charm.  Too bad some of that charm didn't rub off on some of the judges, who continued their childish fighting.
