Married With Microphones – Tad and Polly Get First New Vehicle in Ten Years [VIDEO]

Out with the old, in with the new. After ten years, Tad and I finally bought a new vehicle. Well, new to us. It's a 2012 Kia Sorento that had less than 20,000 miles and we got a deal we could pass up.

After visiting every car dealership in Central New York, we kept coming back to the Kia, not only because we loved the vehicle, but because we loved the salesman, Tim LeCroix, who felt like our friend.

It's the first time we've had an SUV and we're loving it. The initial concern was room, after having a van for so many years. Now that our kids are grown, we don't need that much room anymore.  As long as two sets of golf clubs and a suitcase can fit, it'll work. And they do.

Our old Ford van has been through a lot. It's taken us from Kentucky to Arizona to New York. It's also been on vacation to Florida, Illinois, North Carolina and Canada. She's seen a lot of miles; over 181,000. The van still runs but it's not up to traveling long distances anymore.

Good bye old friend, you'll be missed.
