The American Idol Top 20 are ready to sing for America's vote next week.  The Top 10 guys sang for the last 5 spots during the sudden death round last night.  So who moved on?

American Idol has another rising country star.  The third times the charm for Janelle Arthur, who made it through the sudden death round in Las Vegas after auditioning three times.  She joined four other ladies who made it to the live rounds next week.

Hollywood week on American Idol is over, and the Top 40 men and women moving on have been chosen.  The ladies may be the ones to beat this season.  Several blew away the judges during their final auditions, including country girl Janell Arthur, soul singer Candice Glover and my favorite this year, Angela Miller who sang an original song that gave Keith Urban goose bumps.

Hollywood week continues on American Idol, as the solo rounds cut the boys from the men.  Several early favorites were sent home on last night's episode.

It's Hollywood Week on 'American Idol,' and the competition is getting harder and harder. Wednesday night (Feb. 6) saw a couple of country singers go home, while two more went on to the next round.

A teen who won't live to see his 40's and Steven Tyler in drag were the highlights of American Idol auditions in Oklahoma City.

American Idol auditions continued in San Antonio, Texas and Long Beach California.  Several hopefuls stood out, overcoming adversity to reach their dreams, but it was Micah Johnson who blew everyone away.

American Idol headed into former Idol winner Scotty McCreery's hometown of Charlotte North Carolina.  A state full of country singers and sweet southern charm.  Too bad some of that charm didn't rub off on some of the judges, who continued their childish fighting.

American Idol headed to the Windy City as auditions continued for the two night premiere.  A number of singers stood out in Chicago and one even got Keith Urban to sing with her.  One of my favorite moments on the episode. The best moment actually came Lazoro Arbos, the last audition of the night.

The search for the next 'American Idol' is officially under way.  And Keith Urban will help find this season's winner with Nicki Minaj, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.

The American Idol judges and host, Ryan Seacrest will be hold a live question and answer session Wednesday night (1/9/13).  And if you're going to be close to the city, you can catch a special world premiere one week early.
