As Laura at The Olde Wicker Mill says, spring has sprung at this fabulous boutique and gift shop, but whether you experience that on the way in changes day to day. In this edition of "On the Road with Polly," I show you around the store and gush about some of my favorite pieces:

The store has been in the New Hartford Shopping Center for more than two decades, but this was my first time inside. It's filled with unique gifts for everyone on your lists — and at all budgets. Think moms, dads, kids, grads, and those "just because" gifts that I always think mean the most. You'll find the latest in brand names including Brighton, Vera Bradley, and Pandora and local merchandise you love like Adirondack Cheese Co. products and Beekman 1802 soaps and lotions.

There's always something new to find, as their inventory changes frequently — clothing, jewelry, kids toys and full garden section every day of year. As you saw, I could barely contain myself over the stuffed animals that sing. So much fun!

It didn't take me long to find a denim jacket to replace the one my daughter stole, and a colorful top that — as that same daughter would say — is just obnoxious enough for my momma. What can I say? I like what I like, and I found plenty at The Olde Wicker Mill.
