And you thought your Uncle Bert was pretty good at putting down hot dogs. Joey Chesnut won his 7th consecutive "Nathans Hot Dog Eating Contest" at New York's Coney Island today wolfing down a record 69 dogs breaking his previous record of 68. He was up against stiff competition from a host of other record setting eaters.

The Post Game.com listed some of the other competitors.

  --Ronnie Hartman, a soldier who recently returned from Afghanistan and chose to spend his Fourth chomping down hot dogs.

--Pete "Pretty Boy" Davekos whose accolades include eating 31 soft tacos in 10 minutes.

--Eric "Badlands” Booker who has scarfed down 21 matzo balls in five minutes.

--Marcos Owens who has eaten 144 Hooters chicken wings in 10 minutes.

On the ladies side of the plate Sonya "The Black Widow" Thomas, won the women’s competition by a mere  ¾ of a hot dog with 36 and ¾ consumed with second place finisher  Juliet Lee downing 36. Check out the exciting play-by-play.

One has to wonder if he then set a record for the world's loudest burp.
