An Oneida County Sheriff's Deputy has been charged with attempted murder after he allegedly set a home on fire during the early morning hours back on April 9th, while his infant child, the child's mother and her parents were inside, according to a joint release from Utica Police and the Oneida County Sheriff's Office. The woman and her family were able to escape the home without injury.
