The results are in! According to Guinness World Records, Corduroy the Cat is the oldest feline in the world! He is 26 years old and he lives with his owner in Oregon. The average lifespan for a domesticated cat is 15 years. Corduroy is still going strong! The 'nine lives' rule for cats must really apply to him.

Joey Chesnut won his 7th consecutive "Nathans Hot Dog Eating Contest" at New York's Coney Island today wolfing down a record 69 dogs breaking his previous record of 68. He was up against stiff competition from a host of other record setting eaters.
