Carly Rose & Tate Stevens Top 2 Again on X-Factor After 2 More Go Home

It looks like a 2 man race on 'The X-Factor.'  Westchester teen Carly Rose Sonenclar and country singer Tate Stevens are the top 2 viewer favorites for a second week in a row.  The rankings were announced after two more acts were sent home.

As predicted, rap group Lyric 145 were the first to go.  But the second elimination was more of a surprise.  Cece Frey was at the top of my list to be sent home.  She almost went home the week before and her performance of 'All By Myself' was a mess.  But viewer seemed to like her since she moved up to 5th place.  It came down to Paige Thomas and Jennel Garcia, both from Demi Lovato's team, being in the bottom two.  After the 2 sang, it was up to the coaches to decide who went home.

LA Reid, Britney Spears and Simon Cowell all chose to save Paige, ending Jennel's dream.  Neither should have been in the bottom two and I was sure it would be Paige going home.

Taylor Swift performed 'State of Grace' from her Red album. She told the Top 12 the best advice she could give is 'to be nice.'

The X-Factor Top 10 return next Wednesday night on Fox at 8.
