The FOX Network announced Friday that they will be cancelling the singing competition "The X Factor" after just three seasons will be cancelled. Most people believe that it is because of the decision by Executive Producer, Simon Cowell, to leave America and return to the show in the UK. In a statement released by Fox Broadcasting's Chairman of Entertainment according to a US Weekly article,

"Unfortunately, there is no X Factor USA without Simon Cowell," Kevin Reilly, Chairman of Entertainment, Fox Broadcasting Company added in the statement. "But we understand and support his decision to focus on the international formats and on the next phase of his personal life. We wish him the very best, and it’s our sincere hope that we work together again soon."
