Ethan Harris, who sang the National Anthem at last year's FrogFest, is representing Central New York at the X-Factor auditions in Long Island this week.  He'll bypass the thousands waiting in line after winning the local competition in Rome last week. He stopped by the studio to talk about his experience and what's next.

Ethan's journey began when he auditioned online with a Christmas song.  'I was like there is no way they are going to call me.'  But they did and Ethan was shocked.  'I was jumping up and down and called everyone I knew.'

Ethan sang 'Landslide' for the judges at MVCC and was surprised by the praise he received. 'I did not expect such good feedback.'  He was the grand prize winner and is off to the next round Thursday morning.  'I'm still trying to take it all in. It's all happening so fast.  I'm still floating on cloud nine.'

Ethan will sing in front of the producers in Long Island first.  If they like him too, and I can't see why they wouldn't, it's off to sing in front of the judges, including Simon Cowell, who Ethan likes. 'I think it's entertaining the way he says things. He is only saying those things to help you.  He can be a little mean at times but I think it's going to be all good.'  Let keep our fingers crossed.

Watch Ethan's Rome audition and keep checking back for updates.  Ethan promises to keep us posted on his progress this week.
