Perhaps Santa is laying down a base to bring in the sleigh. A Winter Weather Advisory will bring us a mixed bag of winter weather starting tonight and continuing into the Christmas weekend.

The National Weather Service says snow will start tonight in Southern Oneida, Onondaga, Madison, Seneca, Southern Cayuga, Cortland,Chenango and Otsego counties. Somewhere between 2-6 inches of snow are expected through the day Friday. Snow changes to freezing rain and sleet late Friday afternoon and evening. It will eventually become all rain.
