Have you ever wished you lived farther away from work so you can drive your car a little longer?  The 2012 Volkswagon Passat will make you want to take a long trip to nowhere.  It's Day Two of my Passat story and all I want to do is drive .  The Passat has so much power, the Mohawk Valley is no match for this car.

My daughter and I went back to school shopping yesterday and we took the VW Passat.  When we were leaving the store, the rain was coming down, hard.  As we dashed to the car, I hit the automatic trunk release to put the bags in, which was nice to save time and get less wet then everyone else in the lot struggling with their keys.   And if you ever forget and leave your windows down when it starts to rain, all you have to do is press the door handle and the windows or sunroof you've left open will automatically close.  No more fighting with keys to open the door, then rushing to start the car so you can roll up the windows before your interior gets soaked.  Thanks Rich for showing me that handy feature.

The heated seats are a nice addition too.  It was a little chilly yesterday so I thought I'd give them a try.  Boy they would feel so good when winter hits in Central New York.  The Passat has dual control heating too, which is good for our family since I'm always cold and my husband is always hot.  The seats aren't the only things heated.  The mirrors and windshield wipers are also heated, which will also come in handy in the middle of winter when you're trying to drive through a CNY storm and see around your frozen wipers.  No more beating the ice off them at every stop light.

Lets not forget the 2012 VW Passat is made right here in America at a plant in Tennessee.  And in addition to the 3 year or 36 thousand mile warranty, Volkswagon also provides three years of free maintenance.  No more worrying about when to take your vehicle in for service.  The Passat will remind you when its time.

Check back tomorrow to see what else I’ll discover on the 2012 Passat.  Take a look for yourself online or take a test drive at Rome Volkswagon.  Tell them Polly Wogg sent you.
