Each year at the Greg "Splashin'" McShea household, we hang the official McShea family wreath on the outside of our home, and it's always an adventure. Over the years, I've hoisted the wreath up through rain, wind, snowstorms, and even fell off the ladder once with wreath in hand. Luckily, I fell in the bushes, and my then five year old son rushed over to see if I was OK. So this is a big deal for the family!

Last Saturday, my family gathered 'round with cameras shooting to capture this memorable holiday event. And of course, just like Clark Griswold in "National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation", when I plugged it in (you guessed it), the lights on the wreath didn't light.

Luckily, we did get it working once my daughter pointed out, "Hey Dad, the cord isn't plugged into the outlet".

Merry Christmas!
