Greg has a strong connection to the Mohawk Valley, having attended Utica schools and graduating from Utica College with a B.S. Degree in Public Relations. He has hosted a number of radio programs and his voice has been heard on the airwaves through the years. In addition to radio broadcasting, Greg is a well-known name in the local advertising community and was awarded the Mohawk Valley Advertising Club’s “Ad Person of the Year” in 1994. Ride For Missing Children This Friday
One of the most worthwhile events in central New York each year is the "Ride For Missing Children", and it's this Friday. Hundreds of local bike riders give their time, strength and endurance to raising awareness and funds for this great cause.
Diamond Rio Sparkles On The Classic Double
On this day in 1991, America's number one country song was "Meet In The Middle" by Diamond Rio. Today, we'll kick off our "Country Classic Double" at 11:30 a.m. with that great hit and follow it up with "Gone Too Far", a number one for Eddie Rabbitt on this day in 1980.
Keep Your Eyes On The Road And Hands On The Wheel
With the warmer weather here and vacation traveling just around the corner, many of us will be doing a lot more driving. At Big Frog 104, we want those drive times to be safe ones. So, as the old saying goes, keep your eyes on the road and hands on the wheel. Now, a new study indicates the five riskiest distractions while driving.
Thinking About Wining And Dining At The Zoo?

What’s Your Favorite Chocolate Candy?
We all have our favorite chocolate candy, and there are a lot of good ones to choose from. As for me? I don't eat chocolate candy bars; not that I'm a health nut, but I prefer salty snacks to candy. Now, a new survey has the top 10 favorite chocolate candy.
“Wizard Of Oz” Actor To Appear At Turning Stone
Everyone loves "The Wizard Of Oz", the classic 1939 film starring Judy Garland. In fact, my daughter has become quite the expert on the movie and Judy Garland as well. A cast member from that classic film will be making an appearance at Turning Stone and the 34th annual Oz-Stravaganza in Chittenango.
Cheers To American Craft Beer Week
As a former tour guide at the F.X. Matt Brewing Company, I live by the motto "Beer is thicker than water". That's why I like to share beer news with you. This is American Craft Beer Week across the country, and a number of local events are taking place to celebrate that fact.
Let’s Get Grilling
Finally! The other night, I got right under the hood and cleaned the "Splashin'" McShea family gas grill. What a job! It's my own fault, as I didn't clean it when we finished using it last November.
When Fishing, Avoid Lake Sturgeon For Their Protection
Central New York is blessed with numerous streams, lakes and rivers, meaning a great place to be if you love to fish. Now, the Department of Environmental Conservation is urging anglers to steer clear of lake sturgeon to protect this endangered fish.
Happy One Year Anniversary Miranda And Blake
It was the wedding of the year in 2011 (other than the royal wedding in the UK), when Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton got married. Today, they celebrate their one year anniversary. In show business, that's like a silver anniversary.
Local Gas Prices Going Down
With Memorial Day is just a couple of weeks away, we'll be doing more driving to the beach or that vacation destination. The good news is that central New York gas prices are going down.
