Toby Keith is One of the First Musical Artists to Welcome Stephen Colbert to The ‘Late Show’

The first 'Late Show' for Stephen Colbert kicks off tonight at 11:35 p.m. on CBS, but country fans can get excited about Colbert's musical guest this Friday! Toby Keith will help welcome his buddy to late-night television with his American pride and amazing talent!

It was announced last year shortly after David Letterman's retirement announcement that the former 'Colbert Report' host, Stephen Colbert, would take the reigns on the CBS evening program. Many feel that the shoes of Letterman are too big to fill, however many are optimistic that Colbert's humor can at least fill the socks. With Toby Keith rocking one of his first few shows, it's no surprise that the new show will be quite entertaining. Willie Nelson is also expected to be one of the first few musical guests as well, on September 16th.
