Love is certainly in the air over the Empire State because newly released data shows how seriously New Yorkers take Valentine's Day.

With Easter just a few months away, people are already thinking about their favorite holiday treats such as Peeps and the Cadbury Creme Egg. However, some fans of the iconic chocolate and cream treat are not too happy with a big change to the Cadbury Creme Egg recipe.

It's probably not a surprise to anyone but chocolate is the preferred Halloween treat again this year. The National Confectioners Association conducted a national survey of Halloween goodies and found that 72% of respondents preferred chocolate. What were the runners up?

We all have our favorite chocolate candy, and there are a lot of good ones to choose from. As for me? I don't eat chocolate candy bars; not that I'm a health nut, but I prefer salty snacks to candy. Now, a new survey has the top 10 favorite chocolate candy.

Tuesday night is my bowling night at Pin-O-Rama. It is also my "guilty pleasure" night when I consume my weekly bag of M and M's. I'm not alone in my craving as M and M's are the world's most popular candy. The question is, what kind of M and M is the best selling one.?

Even though winter doesn't arrive until December 21, it sure looks and feels like winter here in central New York.  What better way to stay warm than with a cup of hot cocoa, which apparently has some positive health benefits.  So, I thought it would be a good idea to share those with you today on National Hot Cocoa Day.
