With Easter just a few months away, people are already thinking about their favorite holiday treats such as Peeps and the Cadbury Creme Egg. However, some fans of the iconic chocolate and cream treat are not too happy with a big change to the Cadbury Creme Egg recipe. If you love a specific candy, then you know exactly how that candy is supposed to taste. Some chocolate egg consumers picked up on the fact that the tasty Easter treat was tasting a little cheap.

According to an article on www.itv.com, a spokesperson for Cadbury had this explanation:

It's no longer Dairy Milk. It's similar, but not exactly Dairy Milk. We tested the new one with consumers. It was found to be the best one for the Creme Egg, which is why we've used it this year.

The Creme Egg has never been called the Cadbury's Dairy Milk Creme Egg. We have never played on the fact that Dairy Milk chocolate was used.

NOT DAIRY MILK?!?! Then what the heck kind of milk are you using? You can't go from having a chocolate and cream treat with real dairy milk to some cheap "non-dairy" chocolate. Of course it's going to taste cheap. What else will they mess with to cut costs? My favorite candy egg for Easter is the Reese's Egg and if they screw with that, I will be very annoyed!
