Tad & Polly’s Most Memorable Moments of 2014

2014 was a great year. There were so many highlights. From FrogFest to vacations. See our top 10 moments of the past year.

1.Surprising Daughter With Car

Tad & I surprised our daughter with a car for her birthday. Her reaction was priceless!

2. Dierks Bentley in Utica

Dierks Bentley put on one heck of show at the Utica Auditorium; hopefully the first of many country concerts to come.

3. Anniversary Celebration in the Poconos

We celebrated our 10th Anniversary in the Poconos and although there were a number of great moments, ice skating topped the list. Tad and skates don't mix.

4. North Carolina Vacation

Every September we head to North Carolina for a weeks vacation. This year we found a new house ON the beach. The location was perfect but the highlight was trying to put eyedrops in Tad's eyes.

5. Santa For Seniors Wins Award

Santa 4 Seniors is one of our favorite programs we do each year and thanks to your generosity, the program was honored at the annual “Older American Awards Ceremony.”

6. Ice Bucket Challenge

The Ice Bucket Challenge was THE thing of the summer. A number of country star accepted the challenge to raise awareness for ALS, including James Wesley, who we challenged.

7. FrogFest

Thompson Square, Tyler Farr, James Wesley and Trailer Choir put on one heck of a show at FrogFest.

8. Polly Birthday Impressions

For my birthday, Tad had the staff do their best Polly impression. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time!

9. Polly's All Nighter

Our first Polly's All Nighter was so much fun, we're doing it all again next year! Tad enjoyed the night too. He had the house to himself.

10. Random Acts of Kindness

My daughter and I performed random acts of kindness for Christmas. I love surprising strangers for no reason at all.
