Scientists Discover New ‘Stupidity Virus’

Next time you do something extremely stupid, and your wife freaks out on you, blame it on science. Scientists are stepping forward claiming they have covered a new "stupidity virus." Also, if you look up gullible in the dictionary, you won't find your photo.

Researchers from Johns Hopkins University and the University of Nebraska have discovered a virus that makes you just a little bit dumber. No joke, they tested it out and it appears to be true.

The scientists stumbled upon the previously unknown "stupidity virus" in the throat cultures of healthy subjects during a completely unrelated experiment. The 44 percent of people who tested positive for the virus performed 7 to 9 points lower on IQ tests that measured attention span and how fast and accurately people process visual information."

Don't freak out just yet, you won't catch the stupid any time soon. According to researchers they are very skeptical the virus can actually affect intelligence.
