Oregon Deputy Sends Entire Patch Collection For Karma
We're collecting Police patches from around the country to send to Karma Little, who is battling Stage 4 High Risk Neuroblastoma. Among all of the envelopes, boxes and letters we have received on behalf of Karma, a Deputy from Oregon has sent Karma a very special package.
Dane Jensen is a Deputy with the Union County Sheriff's Office in La Grande, Oregon. When he heard that we wanted to send Karma as many patches as we could, he decided he was going to send her his entire collection.
Deputy Jensen's collection includes patches from his Sheriff's Office in Union County along with others from Kansas, Idaho State Police, Utah Highway Patrol, Maryland State Police, Baltimore Sheriff, Seattle Police Department, Brunswick New Jersey P.D., and even one from the Royal Canadian Mounted Police in Edmonton!
Deputy Jensen also included gifts from his fellow officers. Troopers Danny Routt and Travis Moody of the Oregon State Police sent along the Oregon State Police patch, Senior Trooper patch and a coin from the Department of Energy.
Deputy Matt Tiller sent the Uniontown Police Department patch, and Sgt. Jason Hays of the La Grande PD included a LGPD poker chip with the American Flag and Thin Blue Line on it.
Deputy Jensen included a beanie from the Union County Sheriff's Office and a letter explaining where and from whom each patch came. Finally Karma will get a beautiful birthday card signed by multiple members of Oregon Law Enforcement.
Thank you Deputy Jensen for all that you do to keep your community safe, and for helping to make an amazing little girl's birthday so special.
We're still collecting Police patches and coins for Karma's birthday on July 26, and we plan to send them all at once.
If you would like to send patches to Karma, mail them to us and we'll take care of the rest.
