Neighbor Leaves ‘Hey Handicap’ Note On Disabled Woman’s Car
A disabled Ohio woman is firing back after receiving a 'Hey handicap' note on her car.
Ashley Brady of Miamisburg, who lost her leg in an accident in 2014 was given a handicap parking spot at her apartment. "This small victory meant so much to me," she says on Facebook. But after only 2 days, someone else started using her spot.
Brady left a note on the woman's car, explaining why she needed the spot and that she found it disrespectful a healthy person would use the space. Brady vowed to have the vehicle towed if she parked there again. Brady found a note on her car in response that read:
"Hey handicap! First, never place your hands on my car again! Second, honey you ain't the only one with "struggles." You want pity go to a one leg support group! You messed with the wrong one! I don't care what your note said shove it, but you touch my car again I will file a report, I am not playing! I let the office know the cry baby one leg touches my property I will cause trouble so go cry your struggles to someone who cares cause I'm walking away with both mine! -(expletive)"
The note was posted on Facebook and has over 3200 comments and 1500 shares.
Brady tells WKEF-TV, "She told me to cry to someone who cares, so I went to the internet and it turns out a lot of people care."
This makes my blood boil. The audacity of some people amazes me! A photo of the woman should have been posted with her note on Facebook so everyone could see the face of selfishness.
