Grand 'Ol Opry member Mel McDaniel has died. Although he released nearly a dozen albums, he's best known for his hits, "Baby's Got Her Blue Jeans On" and "Louisiana Saturday Night."

Mel was 68 and over the last few years fought his way through falling into an orchestra pit while performing and a heart attack.  The last few months he had been working on what he said he would be his final album, "The Last Ride."  Get more details on the album here.
