What started as a rainy morning, once again turned into perfect day for the annual Michael Oltmann Outing without Golf Clubs at Heron Creek. Family and friends showed up in costume this year with water balloon launchers, cannons, baseball bats, boat paddles, tennis rackets and even a homemade contraption.

Oltmann is the Waterville teen tragically killed in a motorcycle accident in June of 2015. In an effort to keep his memory alive, the Michael Oltmann Outing Without Golf Clubs was born. Michael may be gone but his presence was felt throughout the day.

Thank you to Scott and Carrie Cook at Heron Creek for letting us take over your beautiful course for an unconventional outing that isn't possible without everyone's support. Whether it was a sponsorship, donation or golfing without clubs, you helped raised thousands of dollars again this year for the Michael Oltmann Scholarship, benifitting Waterville High School seniors.
