FrogFest Guest Eddie Arcuri Jr Signs Record Deal
It won't be long until central New Yorkers will say 'remember when Eddie Arcuri Jr. played FrogFest.' The Rome native has signed a record deal and plans to release new music in the Fall. But you can hear it at FrogFest 30 Saturday, June 9th.
Eddie signed with Para Records and says he's been spending the last few months writing new music for an album out October 1st. "That's what I've been doing. Just doing as much writing as possible in Nashville with a few people. I'm excited to show everybody."
The record deal is a long time coming for Eddie who spent a few years in L.A.. But his perseverance has finally paid off. "It's been so long I felt it was never going to happen." But happen it did, thanks to a friend who worked at the label and suggested they give Eddie's music a listen. Although when the call finally came, Eddie says he didn't believe it at first. "I thought it was a bunch of B.S. I took a long time to check into it and we finally decided it was the right deal to make. I had to apologize to everybody in the company that I was like that. But everybody at the label worked their butts off and I'm excited where things are going right now."
