Watch FrogFest 34 Crowd Welcome Mike Gossin Home Singing ‘Country Roads’
There were many memorable moments at FrogFest 34 but the homecoming of Mike Gossin is among one of the best.
Gossin spent a decade performing all over the world with his brother Tom in Gloriana. On Saturday, June 17 he took some country roads back to New York, to perform in front of a hometown crowd for the first time solo.
"When the band broke up I talked with my brother Tom and he told me it was my time to shine. He supported me, encouraged me and now I'm in Nashville, chasing my dreams."
Shine he did, singing songs from his Gloriana days, the music he's working on for a new EP, and some familiar favorites, all with just a microphone and his guitar.
"I wanted to bring something a little different and more intimate to the stage."
Country Roads Take Gossin Back Home
Gossin saved the best for last with John Denver's Country Roads. But instead of West Virginia, back in New York is where he belongs.

The only thing better than Gossin's performance was the moment when thousands of fans in the crowd sang along. There was no better way to end the day. Watch the moment that will give you goosebumps below.
