Vincent Butterfield is only in first grade, but he has already learned and lived a valuable lesson about what being a true friend really means. What he did for his buddy Zac Gossage, who has cancer, will bring you to tears.

Not only did Vincent shave his head to show his support, but he also came up with an incredible idea to sell scarves to help with medical expenses! I am not a parent, but I can imagine discussing issues like cancer and other disease with young ones can be difficult. Those conversations are always easier when kids have a heart like Vincent's. With all the negativity we see in the media today, it's so refreshing to see a story like this and I hope more kids will lead by Vincent's example.
