By several accounts, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton are one of the greatest music duo's of all time. And in the 80's, the rumors about a relationship between the two iconic singers were as widespread as their hit songs. So did they or didn't they? They answer the question in an interview with ABC's Nightline.

Kenny releases a new album, "You Can't Make Old Friends" on October 8, which just happens to include a duet with Dolly Parton.  2013 also just happens to mark the 30th anniversary of their duet, Islands In The Stream," a song that propelled them both to world wide fame.  It also led to a tour and Christmas album together.  They sounded so natural together and appeared so friendly that talk, as it always does, started running rampant.  In the Nightline interview below, the two address those rumors along with all the hurtful tabloid fodder about plastic surgery.
