The sun was out, the temperatures were hot, the bands were great and the Big Frog 104 fans were having an amazing time. Saturday was the Wild West FrogFest and Rodeo at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds and it was a fun time had by all.

It was my second year working FrogFest, and I had a great time. Last year, I was selling balloons; this year, I was selling t-shirts near the front gates. I love being out and about with the Big Frog 104 fans -- y'all are great to talk to. We love our listeners!

Who could forget the absolutely wonderful great bands this year at FrogFest? We had The Custom Taylor Band, Tim Creaser, Jeff Bates, and of course our headliner, Rodney Atkins.

Rodney Atkins performed one heck of a show this year. He played all of his classics, like "Farmer's Daughter," "It's America," "Cleaning This Gun," "Watching You," "These Are My People" and "If You're Going Through Hell."

Not only did he sing his older songs, he treated Big Frog 104 fans to brand new music and his latest single playing on the Big Frog 104 airwaves, "Take A Back Road." During his show, Rodney also played a little Lynyrd Skynyrd and performed Garth Brook's "Much Too Young."

All in all, FrogFest had great performing acts, amazing fans and wonderful weather. I had a lot of fun this year at Frogfes t-- can't wait for next year!

We would all like to thank all those who came out and enjoyed in the fun. Big Frog 104 has the best fans!
