When people make their first trip to Central New York they can't believe the flourishing country music scene that is very alive and breathing in our area.  After all, most think NY is a city, not a state.  It's our hope to shine a light on the many great country acts that we are blessed to have entertaining us in "CNY Country Music Scene."

The two local bands to help us celebrate our 25th FrogFest are The Custom Taylor Band and The Fulton Chain Gang.  They'll take the stage June 15th at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds.

The sun was out, the temperatures were hot, the bands were great and the Big Frog 104 fans were having an amazing time. Saturday was the Wild West FrogFest and Rodeo at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds and it was a fun time had by all.

Chris Taylor, the lead singer of the Custom Taylor Band, spoke to us before his set at Wild West Frogfest and Rodeo at the Herkimer County Fairgrounds in Frankfort. Chris is a multi-year performer at Frog Fest.  We asked him why he loves this event so much and returns to entertain us every year.
