After the cancellation of the Adirondack Ice Bowl, organizers have decided to keep the party alive in another form with Adirondack 'Ice Hole.'

The Ice Bowl committee has now teamed up with Van Auken's Inn to hold a day-long Cornhole tournament in Old Forge.

The new event will take place the same time as the Ice Bowl was scheduled, on January 27, with an outdoor winter party along with the tournament.

Organizers are looking for up to 40 teams to play Cornhole, registration is $20 per team with the winning team taking home half the pot.

The Cornhole tournament will run from noon til 5 p.m. with an after party going on all night from 6 p.m. until 2 a.m.

The Adirondack 'Ice Hole' will also have a live DJ, beer & food, and a fire to keep warm by during the party.

For team sign-ups, contact Andrew Moore or Rich Bennett, or visit Van Auken's Inn or Wakely's.

According to the Adirondack Ice Hole Facebook page, there are only a few spots left, so sign up fast.
