May 7, 2012 I don't think it's a coincidence that May is National Salsa Month; the same month that we celebrated Cinco de Mayo. That's OK by me. Salsa is one of my favorite foods, and I was surprised to learn that it's is used more as a topping than ketchup (I'd still rather have ketchup on french fries).

According to Wikipedia the Oreo was developed and produced by Nabisco in New York City in 1912 and was originally known as the "Oreo Biscuit". Over the years it has maintained its popularity and its original design with one notable exception.
February 2, 2012 Super Bowl Sunday is fast approaching and regardless of who you will be rooting for chances are you will either be hosting or attending a Super Bowl party. If you are the host you will have to have plenty of snacks on hand as the pre-game, game and post-game will usually extend through at least two meal times. Harris Interactive did its third annual Supervalu Snack Down Survey on Super Bowl snacking and came up with a list of favorites.
