Lay’s Chocolate Covered Potato Chips Available At Target

It is a taste combination made in, well, who knows where. Lay's has introduced chocolate covered potato chips that will only be available at Target stores and only through the holidays. Whose idea was this, anyway?

The sweet and salty mix may, according to USA Today, be the wave of the future.

"Flavors are getting more sophisticated and complex," says Tom Vierhile, innovation insights director at DataMonitor, the consumer products research firm. "We are seeing more products that may pair traditional flavor opposites" like sweet and salty, he says.

Lay's Wavy potato chips covered in chocolate are available in 5-ounce packages priced at $3.49. Although they are only available now at Target stores Lay's promises that If they catch on a more widespread distribution will take place. Keep your fingers crossed.
