Montgomery Gentry fans rejoice!  The Syracuse show we told you last week was cancelled, is back on. There weren't many details as to why the show was axed and there still aren't.  According to Montgomery Gentry's website the show is a go.

There's not a lot of details, but a post on Montgomery Gentry's website announces the cancellation of shows in Cleveland April 14 and Syracuse April 21.

A number of great shows have come through our area this past year. But what were the best local concerts of 2011?

Montgomery Gentry is back.  The boys released 'Rebels On The Run,' their first new album in three years.  Troy Gentry took the time in his busy schedule to talk about their new music, new record label and what the future holds for Montgomery Gentry.

They boys are back! Montgomery Gentry's new album 'Rebels On The Run' is in stores today.  If you're a Montgomery Gentry fan, you're going to love this album. Especially if you're a fan of the early Montgomery Gentry. From the sound of the CD, they went back to their roots.

According to Montgomery Gentry's official website, the duo's new album "Rebels on the Run"  will be hitting store shelves October 4.

Montgomery Gentry rocked the events center at Turning Stone in front of an almost sold out crowd. Before the show they treated our winners to a special sound check. Troy Gentry even managed to sneak into the crowd before the sound check to take a seat. He 'just wanted to see if anyone noticed,' and of course they did. Troy & Eddie not only sang several tunes, including a few off the new album

I'm left speechless. When we decided to put Montgomery Gentry  sound check party passes and concert tickets up for auction, I anticipated them going for a couple hundred dollars.  The bidding war heated up in the last hour, but in the end Tommy had the winning bid of an amazing $565!  That money will go to Special Olympics New York to send Polly Wogg 'Over the Edge.'  Thanks so much.

Happy Birthday Troy Gentry.  He turns 44 today.  He and Eddie Montgomery make up Montgomery Gentry.  A duo who has seen their ups and downs in the last few years, both professionally and personally. Troy was recently linked to an illegal hunting trip and Eddie battled cancer while going through a divorce.  The guys have now signed with a new record label and are working on a new album that should

Eddie Montgomery wasn't feeling bad. He just had a sore hip. But when his son was hurt in a 4-wheeler accident he took the opportunity to consult with his boy's bone specialist. The results were not what he was expecting.
