“Christmas In the Mohawk Valley”-A Local Holiday Favorite [VIDEO]

YouTube

A lot has changed since 1991, some 21 years ago. Back then we were “Jumpin’ Country 96 Frog”, still finding its way into Central New York’s listening habits and “Christmas In the Mohawk Valley” had just been released to overwhelmingly popular support. Written and performed by local musician Mark Werchowski and a “few good friends” it struck a chord, a chord that still resonates to this day. Check out this video put together last year as a 20th anniversary remembrance.

A lot of these folks may look a little different these days but the spirit of that recording session is still as much a part of the Mohawk Valley as ever.
