It has become a tradition Christmas favorite in the Mohawk Valley, as popular as "Jingle Bells" and "Frosty the Snowman". "Christmas In the Valley" was written and recorded by local musician Mark Werchowski and friends in 1991 and is still heard on every Mohawk Valley radio station in the days and weeks before Christmas.

The song was an immediate hit selling more than 1000 copies in a matter of days with proceeds benefitting the local Steven-Swan Humane Society. You can learn more about the song, its origins and history at Werchowski.com.
