When will April the Giraffe give birth? It's the question asked around the world as the animal that's captured millions of hearts at the Animal Adventure Park is STILL pregnant.

Word that a giraffe in Harpursville, New York was about to give birth began circulating two weeks ago. Park owner, Jordan Patch was overwhelmed when her live cam went viral. "She’s in great spirits. The calf is imminent. It just takes time."

Imminent is described in the dictionary as "likely to occur at any moment." But it's been TWO WEEKS and no baby giraffe!

Thankfully there's a way to sign up for an alert when labor begins so you don't have to watch the a giraffe lift her tail and wonder if it's hooves or poop all day long.

There's rumors that April isn't even pregnant but you can see the calf kicking her belly if you look close in the live feed. Maybe she's just milking her 15 minutes of fame.

April will give birth when April is ready. "She's a season pro," says Patch. "She knows what she's doing. If anyone has kept their cool during this process it's April."
