The Animal Adventure Park will soon have a new addition. April the giraffe is expecting a calf and you can watch it being born.

The live cam to see the birth of a new giraffe at the park in Harpursville, New York was taken down from YouTube "for violating YouTube's policy on nudity or sexual content." It came back but if it disappears again, you can watch live on the Animal Adventure Park's Facebook page when the birth begins.

The calf is expected to be about 6 feet tall, weighing 150 pounds when it arrives. April is expected to deliver her new calf any time now and will do so standing up according to Park owner Jordan Patch.

Park representatives gave an update on April's condition this morning: "April continues to progress perfectly normal. Appetite is extremely limited once again - water consumption is as expected. Behavior is notable different than usual - but still maintains positive qualities."

The giraffe isn't the only baby at the park. A pair of Black belly sheep twins arrived on Saturday morning. You can see all the animals at the Animal Adventure Park when it opens for the season May 13th.

The Animal Adventure Park is located in Harpursville, 15 minutes outside of Binghamton. Get details at or on Facebook.
