What Was I Thinking?–Zach Uses Push Reel Mower to Mow Lawn

Don't let the cool, retro headphones and John Lennon sunglasses fool you--not even music and a stylish lawn-mowing attire could make my last lawn mowing experience pleasant. Where did I go wrong? Using a push reel mower to mow my lawn. That's where I went wrong.

So, why did I decide to use a push reel mower to mow my lawn? Zach, why didn't you just use a gas mower, you ask? Well, this push reel mower was given to me for free because I had this great idea I wanted to mow my lawn and not only save on gas, but get a good workout, too. A guy I know had one around, and he gave it to me. That's how I got the mower.

Not only did I walk away with a blister on my foot, I have an uneven lawn, too! There are still some long spots here and there. Oh, and my shoulders hurt and arms hurt.

Ok, I'm done complaining now. It actually wasn't really that bad.

And, even though I'm complaining, I will continue to mow my lawn with the push reel lawn mower. Why? Well, not only does it save me money on gas, it is great exercise, and, it's pretty eco-friendly, which makes me happy.

You know, I remember as a kid I hated mowing the lawn. But, I'm not sure why looking back on it. I had a self-propelled, motorized lawnmower to use. So, kids, don't complain about mowing the lawn. I mean, unless, of course, you are using a push reel mower. Then, I totally understand your pain.
