You could call this week's Utica - Rome Top 5 songs, the Top Southern-Rock Tunes.  The top 4 could all be labeled country-rock.  Number 1 was a run away winner in the voting, but songs 2 thru 5 were separated by just 1 point. Hit the “read more” button to check out the songs and videos you voted your favorites. With the Thanksgiving holiday nearly here, (no way it's Thanksgiving in less than a week!) the next round of voting will run thru, Monday November 28th. So, eat, shop, watch some football and vote for your favorite songs here.

God Gave Me You - Blake Shelton

Blake picked up his second straight and much deserved male vocalist of the year award at the CMAs. And "God Gave Me You" spent multiple weeks at number 1 nationwide. Can't wait to see what's next.

Country Must Be Country Wide - Brantley Gilbert

You may recall, Brantley co-wrote Jason Aldean's hits "My Kinda Party" and "Dirt Road Anthem." His cd, "Halfway To Heaven" contains "Dirt Road Anthem Revisited" with Colt Ford (they co-wrote the song). And also like Jason Aldean, he hails from Georgia.

I Don't Want This Night To End - Luke Bryan

I searched for a version of this video from the CMA's when Luke performed this song with all the dancers. Maybe they thought we'd lose our focus on the song and just watch the dancers (no honey, I'm watching it for Luke's performance.) Of course who can forget Luke bringing down the house at the Utica Aud earlier this year, when he set the record for most tickets to a Utica College concert.

Drink In My Hand - Eric Church

"Early Monday morning to Friday at 5, man, I work, work, work." Has there ever been a better working man line than that in a song? Eric, whose real first name is Kenneth, has had a very successful 2011, touring with Toby Keith, joining Keith Urban on stage and at the top of the list, becoming a daddy for the first time October 3.

Tattoos On This Town - Jason Aldean

It was good to see Jason finally get some recognition at an awards show, taking home album of the year and vocal event for his duet with Kelly Clarkson.  And I swear I drag raced the same Chevy Nova as in this video when I was about 17.  Please don't tell my Mom and Dad, even more important don't tell my kids!
