Upstate New Yorker Jenna Renae Gets Golden Ticket to Hollywood on American Idol [VIDEO]
Jenna Renae Ryckman is heading to Hollywood. The Williamson, New York native got her golden ticket on the final season of American Idol, with her audition of Eric Paslay's 'She Don't Love You.'
The judges did love Ryckman. Keith Urban noticed different influences in her voice. "You don't sound like you grew up singing country. It sounds like you grew up with other music. What music was in your house?"
"My parents were into Broadway theater and some country too, so a broad range of different things," Ryckman explained.
With three yeses, Ryckman was handed her ticket to Hollywood.

Auditioning for Idol has been a long time dream for Ryckman. "I've wanted to audition since Kelly Clarkson won the first season. This has been a long time coming but I feel like this is it."
The Atlanta audition was it and Ryckman is still letting it all sink in. "I can't believe this is really happening. I've watched it so many times and now it's me."
We'll all be watching and cheering Ryckman on. Way to put upstate New York on the map.
Williamson, New York is located West of Syracuse, just outside of Rochester.
