Tony Dungy Reflects On The Memory Of MLK
Today is Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Martin Luther King's "I Have A Dream" speech inspired many people including former NFL coach and current NBC Football Analyst Tony Dungy. Coach Dungy had a dream as well. He wanted to play in the NFL and score the winning touchdown in the Super Bowl. He not only accomplished his dream of playing in the NFL, he also went on to become the first African-American head coach to take his team to a Super Bowl victory. He led his 2006 Indianapolis Colts to a 29-17 victory over the Bears.
