Who doesn't love taking a good old nap? Count me in for sure. Last weekend after about 7 hours non-stop opening up camp, putting things away, moving heavy stuff back in its place, I decided to sit down and close my eyes for a second and then get back to work.

Well when I opened my eyes, it was an hour later. But taking that 60 minute nap felt so good. I could get used to taking a nap everyday, but that will have to wait until I retire.

Speaking of napping, eachnight is looking for people to take a nap. And they will pay you for it. Their website states that they are looking for five 'Nap Reviewers.' Each person will need to commit to nap for 30 day period. There is no indication of any time requirement for each daily nap, but I'm sure that question will be answered for the five lucky nappers.

Eachnight mentions on their website the reason for the study is to "test best nap duration for feeling refreshed, effects of napping on overall levels of fatigue, and effects of napping on memory, motivation and productivity."  I think it should be a part of our workday. Although I do have a hard time getting out of nap mode and into work mode right after.

The five lucky nappers will each get $1,500 at the end of the 30 day test. Getting paid to take a few minutes of sleeping is not a bad way to score some cash. I don't know if I could do it, though. I would probably try too hard to take a nap and end up having trouble falling asleep.

But maybe this is right up your alley. For more information, visit the eachnight website. Applicants must be 18 or older and the last day to apply is May 31, 2021.
