The Clydesdale horse is one of the most elegant and beautiful in the world. A few of the rarest breed of Clydesdales made a stop in Sauquoit, NY. The Utica Branch of Express Employment Professionals was able to team up with UCP's The Root Farm to bring these majestic animals to town.

What was an open field is rapidly becoming one of the biggest equine therapy center in the northeast! The Upstate Cerebral Palsy Root Farm, when completed, will be a place where horses will be used as treatment to help people work toward life goals and adapt to limitations they may have being either physical or developmental.

On the day before Upstate Cerebral Palsy's 65th anniversary, a groundbreaking ceremony took place for the brand new Root Farm on King Road in Sauquoit. The Root Farm when completed will be one of the largest equine therapy facilities in the Northeast. This couldn't have been possible without the generosity and partnership of Alice Root and The Root Farm.
