It's National Ride to Work Day and 450 riders are using the day to ride 100 miles in the Ride for Missing Children today.  But in a few weeks it'll be time for the Tour de Cure.  Thankfully I only have to ride 15 miles.

I have to admit I haven't been keeping up with my training.  The weekend training rides with Dan at Schuss Ski & Bike Shop scheduled at Paragon Athletic Club have been when I work and I haven't made it.  I have made it out on the road on my own a few weeks ago.  The recent rain put a damper on my riding but I'm hoping to get back out.

Since the Tour de Cure is only two weeks away, the focus turns to the fundraising part of the ride.  A big thank you to our latest contributor, Kelly Lappin Smith.  You can help too.  We want to raise as much money as we can for the American Diabetes Association.  When I asked for your help with Special Olympics 'Over the Edge,' you helped raise the most money of anyone and we can do the same for the Tour de Cure.
