Plymouth Fire Chief Dies in House Fire

The Plymouth Fire Department is saying goodbye to their leader who died in a house fire.

Plymouth Fire Chief Frank Fowlston died in his home on County Route 21 in the Town of Plymouth Monday, October 30th. He'd been with the department 12 years.

"The Plymouth Fire Dept. members are devastated at the loss of our Fire Chief," says Assistant Chief Shawn Cushman. "Please keep Frank's fire dept. and family in your prayers."

Chenango County Sheriff's Investigators are still looking for the cause of the blaze.

Savona and Prospect Terrace fire departments sent condolences to the members of Plymouth fire department and the families who are grieving.
