If you plan on taking a vacation anytime soon, you should definitely consider making it a road trip. If you've ever made a long journey to another part of the country you know how beautiful the sights and sounds can be. A recent trip from New York to Green Bay, Wisconsin proved that for my girlfriend Dallas and I.

Sure, a plane may be faster, but there is something interesting and exciting about hitting the road, and traveling across the country. Whether it's the heights of a big city, or the sights of the farms of Ohio there is no better way to see the beauty of America. Not only was the weather nice, the people we met were as well. We stayed one night in a little town in Ohio called Findlay. It was a small town, but we learned it was home to the Cooper Tire factory, and a manufacturing plant for Marathon Petroleum. We passed many national headquarters for major companies like Duck Tape, Sargento Cheese, and more. We also passed a number of big city sports arenas, including Progressive Field, home of the Cleveland Indians.

Finally we made it to our destination of Lambeau Field in Green Bay. Even though my Packers lost, it was still an awesome time. It was so great to experience the journey with the one I love. Next time you take a trip consider taking in all the beauty of America from the open road.
